Summary: AU 4 years ago Kahlan did the worst thing she could have ever done, she confessed Richard. Now when that magic eclipse that renders magic invalid for 24 hours every 1000 years happens what will she say to the man she loves when he -is- the man she loves once again?

legendland prompt of 'A Day Without Magic' but this went way over the word limit so I wrote something else for that. Please don't throw things. I know Richard loves Kahlan more than her magic so all blame for this fic can be directed at rosewing86 for the conversation which inspired it. Also this is unbeta'd so all mistakes are my own.
